Complex below-grade construction, multiple technical packages, active site operations, and significant programme pressure increased the importance of prioritising information required for upcoming works, approvals, and critical interfaces rather than allowing BIM activity to run independently from the recovery programme.

Intervention and controls

The BIM approach was re-focused around construction priorities and programme recovery. Coordination reviews were organised around critical work fronts and interfaces with the greatest potential to affect site progress, while 4D reviews improved visibility of sequencing, dependencies, and spatial constraints.
